“It’s amazing how many different roads we can take, but they all lead home.” ― Jewel E. Ann, Releasing Me

When I first saw this living room set from HEART HOMES I immediately thought of the home I grew up in.  This is so stylish and comfortable that I wanted to lay down on the sofa and take a nap…or plop down in the armchair and watch a favorite chic flick.  Marina Ramer put together this design for The Season’s Story and it is as full of artistic detail as everything else she does.  The furniture style is modern and the homespun touches are flattering to the style.

The pillows are needlepoint and applique.  The autumn color pallet is set off by the lighter fabric on the sofa and chairs.  I collect leaves (paintings, pottery, etc.) and when I saw the leaves and butterflies on these puffy pillows I couldn’t resist.

This looks so much like the mid-century furniture from the 50’s and 60’s that was so popular when designers were inspired by the coming space age. Everything became more sleek and had such clean lines and I love the glass top and cutout on the bottom shelf.

All of these pieces are copy, and everything but the sofa and 2 chairs is mod.  That means – and I’ve already done – you can put more of these charming candlesticks around your home and of course – more pumpkins!

HEART HOMES   Fall Into Bliss Autumn Themed Living Room:

Sofa – 10 prims
Sidechair w/blankets – 6 prims
Side chair  –  5 prims
Candle x2 – 2 prims each
Basket of pumpkins – 1 prim
Floor throw rug – 1 prim

NOTE:  This is the first  anniversary of The Season’s Story and it promises to be a very special occasion!  October 8 – October 31
